Contrast Color Fashion Backpack

This backpack was inspired by our designer, Lina, a passionate badminton player who struggled with bulky, one-dimensional sports bags.

After a rainy morning match, she arrived at her office with a soaked laptop and a smelly gym bag that clashed with her professional outfit. Frustrated, she asked her team: “Why can’t a sports bag be both functional and stylish?”

Over 7 months, Lina and her team interviewed 150+ badminton players and urban commuters to understand their pain points:

- Needing to carry both sports gear and work essentials

- Rackets getting scratched in crowded bags

- No way to separate dirty shoes from clean clothes

- Feeling unsafe walking to night games in low visibility

They tested 20 fabric samples before choosing the water-repellent nylon, and iterated 8 times on the racket holder to ensure it was secure yet easy to access. The reflective strips were added after a player mentioned she’d been nearly hit by a cyclist on her way to a late-night practice.
